Not sure if it is of any relevance, but when I tried to run Omnisphere (in demo mode as they recommend not authorising until updating) some of the sounds load (they all appear in the browser) but I get the error 'Cannot load SoundSource 'Atmosphere Strings - Close a' in Directory 'Core Library'. Does anyone have any idea on something which could be done about this that I may have missed, I am at my wits end (have been trying to get this working since Thursday). I am using OS X Mavericks, and the STEAM folder is 44.2GB in size (in case it appears that something hasn't installed properly). I have also tried re-installing the STEAM library (and I am currently trying it for the third time as I type this). I recently installed Omnisphere and whenever I try to run the updater it keeps giving me the error 'failed to open output file', I have tried following the advice on the Spectrasonics knowledge base (making sure permissions are set up correctly for the folders), but I am having no luck. See the instructions below to find your Spectrasonics folder. Your STEAM folder is located inside your Spectrasonics folder. When you update your patches or soundsources, you are updating files in your STEAM folder, which was created when you originally installed Omnisphere.
